I’m headed back to NC tonight to hang out on the farm, finally put my things on a moving truck, and move Pawley to her Charlotte daycare—her final stop before she becomes a DC dog.
I’m not sure if anyone has ever commuted from Shelby, North Carolina to Washington, DC before, but I’m going to go ahead and say that I don’t recommend it.
(Oh, and this is just a gratuitous photo of Pawley being tackled by my parents’ puppy Gabe. Because the world should know that Gabe is not the angel from which he got his name.)
