People ask me about food a lot. (When I’m not posting photos of dachshunds on the internet, I work full time as an editor primarily focused on dining. Have I ever mentioned that on here before? I can’t remember.)
I have a hard time picking favorites, but that changed last night when I ate for the first time at the well-established Restaurant Eve tasting room in Alexandria. My opinion may have been somewhat biased because I sat with other people obsessed with food—give me a dinner companion who wants to talk affinage any day. Anyway, it’s a long and pricey experience, but if you love fresh, interesting, and creative food, they’re doing it right.
