My Opinion

I just finished this book. It’s not mind-blowing or life-changing or really any other hyphenated version of amazing. But if you haven’t read it yet and you’re looking for a sweet summer read with a good story and likeable characters, it fits. Also, I think the author’s description of a conversation may be my favorite I’ve ever read:

“This is the kind of conversation it was: convivial, both of us making gifts to each other of funny little stories, sort of shining them up and handing them over and being nice to each other about them.”
